I have been to this park dozens of times and never found this corner. "Wild" domestic rabbits populate the area along with their predators.

This is a classic Discovery Park view across the meadow and over the sound to the Olympic Peninsula. On a clear day, you would see the stunning mountains. But in the mist, even at this distance you can still feel them, can't you.

Our flat is just out of view on the spit of land projecting from the left side of the painting.

Imagine 30 mph (48 kph)winds and 100 degrees (38 C) in the sun. Can you hear the sounds of deep summer heat.

This piece of driftwood reminded me of the magical sword held by a giant wizard. I drew the hilt.
